• On April 1, 1986, the company was established as a partnership entity under the Indian Partnership Act of 1932. Prestige Estates and Properties was its original name. The address of the registered office was 6 Commercial Street, Bangalore 560001.
• The late S. Razack, Rezwan Razack, Irfan Razack, and Sameera Noaman were the firm's founding partners. The partnership firm was reorganized on March 31, 1997. The same people were part of the new partnership.
• On May 12, 1997, the company rebranded as Prestige Estates Projects. It later became a private limited corporation and was registered.
• On June 4, 1997, it changed its name to Prestige Estates Projects Pvt Ltd and was assigned the company ID 08/22322/1997.
• On November 10, 2009, the business changed its name to Prestige Estates Projects Limited and became a public limited company. On the same day, the Registrar of Companies issued it a new certificate of incorporation that reflected this modification.
